Visit to the artisan chocolate factory and rum tasting (1:45 min approx).
Upon arrival at the Convention Center, you will be welcomed by our expert multilingual guide, who will accompany you on a tour of the charming Historic Center, full of colorful streets and colonial architecture, as we head towards the artisan chocolate factory and the space where the rum tasting will take place.
-Aguardiente Medellín: a smooth and aromatic distillate that represents the essence of the Antioquia region.
-Aguardiente Mil Demonios: with a blend of unique herbs, this aguardiente offers an intense and pleasant flavor.
-Caldas rum: characteristic for its aging in oak barrels, with sweet and slightly smoky notes.
-Baluarte rum: an artisanal rum made in small batches and aged in oak barrels, with a robust and complex flavor.
-Hechicero: a premium rum that combines Caribbean tradition and innovation, aged in oak barrels for a smooth, balanced flavor.
-Dictador: ultra-premium rum that offers a unique experience with notes of coffee, honey and toasted oak.
-Dictador Premium: a more exclusive and aged version of Dictador, with an even more sophisticated and elegant flavor profile.
CHOCOLATES AND THEIR BENEFITS:
The chocolates you will taste in this experience come from high quality organic Colombian cocoa, with cocoa percentages of 65%, 70% and 75%, and combined with cardamom. The consumption of dark chocolate with high cocoa content has multiple health benefits, such as improving blood flow, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress. In addition, it is a source of antioxidants and can contribute to the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
